Your conversations stay on your device.

Your messages, the photos and files you attach and the model’s replies are processed and stored only on your iPhone or iPad. They are never sent to a server, and the developer cannot see them.

The app only connects to the internet to download models from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). Those requests name the model file, like any download, and never include your conversations. Hugging Face’s privacy policy applies to them.

There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. The developer does not collect any data about you or how you use the app.

Apple’s built-in model runs on the device through Apple Intelligence. When you ask LMLocal from Siri or Shortcuts, Apple handles the request as described in Apple’s privacy policy.

The camera and your photo library are only used when you attach a picture to a message.

You can delete conversations from the conversation list or in Settings, and models from Settings › Models on this device. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. Your device backups may include your conversations.

LMLocal does not collect data from anyone, including children. Language models can produce inaccurate or inappropriate text.
